- Record *before* runout, endplay, drawbar pull, etc.
- Tear-down, label, clean, and inspect components
- Perform initial cleaning, inspection, and cataloging
- Repair or replace components as needed
- Prepare for reassembly – fit parts, stone, lap, etc.
- Balance rotating parts as needed
- Perform final cleaning
- Reassemble
- Record *after* runout, endplay, drawbar pull, etc.
- Run-in and record vibration and temperature profiles
