CNC Service Technician
Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions (MMS) looking for CNC Service Technician. Technicians work out of the main office in Pekin, IL and are assigned to customer locations. Customer sites may vary day to day, depending on customer requirements and service needs. CNC Service Technicians repair malfunctioning manufacturing machine tools and work to ensure machines run at peak performance.
Location: Pekin, IL; Travel may be required
This position will be based out of our offices in Pekin, IL.
Hours: Full-Time, Primarily 1st shift but may vary depending on customer demands
Compensation/Hours:
- The successful candidate may be asked to work weekends and overtime on a regular basis, hours will flex as business requires.
- Starting wage offer will be based on candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. $30-$45/Hour
Required Skills & Qualities:
- Ability to work independently with a variety of machines and control
- Willing to travel including possessing a valid driver’s license.
- Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety and environmental policies
- Respond to customer needs including, troubleshoot equipment, and identify parts and equipment to complete repairs
- Repair production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery
- Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, troubleshooting
- Experience working on electrical circuits with voltages ranging from 480V 3 Phase to 5V DC
- Complete projects such as mechanical and electrical upgrades
- Communicate professionally with customer and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Must Have:
- 5 years or more of maintenance experience in the service field
- Intermediate to advanced electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge
- Understanding of core hydraulic and electrical principles
- Experience in CNC machine repair procedures
- Knowledge of PLCs
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
- Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
