Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Technicians repair manufacturing equipment and work to ensure machines run at peak performance.

We are hiring for a range of skill levels and compensation will be based on the candidate’s level of experience as determined during the interview/hiring process.

Location: Racine, WI

Hours/Compensation: Full-Time,  3rd Shift Available, Monday-Friday

  • The successful candidate may be asked to work weekends and overtime on a regular basis, hours will flex as business requires.
  • Starting wage range is $25-30 per hour. Starting wage offer will be based on candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety and environmental policies
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Respond to work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and identify parts and equipment to complete repairs
  • Repair production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic work
  • Complete projects such as mechanical and electrical upgrades
  • Communicate professionally with customer and fellow employees
  • Participate in daily shift meetings to review and schedule daily work
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports

Required:

  • Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of experience or high school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience
  • Intermediate to advanced electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge
  • Understanding of core hydraulic and electrical principles
  • Experience in CNC machine repair procedures
  • Knowledge of PLCs
  • Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision in a team environment. Will work alone or as a member of a work crew, depending on the work assignment
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The duties of this position will be performed primarily in a factory environment.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Communicate effectively
  • Travel in and around a factory, office facilities and around the job site out-of-doors
  • Safely climb and/or maneuver over, under and around equipment
  • Use close and color vision
  • Operate tools and equipment as required
  • Lift or move 50+ pounds occasionally
