Machine-Tool Emergency Repairs

When Your machine Goes Down, Help is on the way.

MMS provides emergency machine-tool repair response across the country — CNC, machine tools, fabrication systems, robotics, material handling systems, precision alignments, geometry corrections, and program and controller troubleshooting. Skilled technicians arrive prepared to diagnose and repair, not just inspect.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Emergency repairs, end to end.

Mechanical, electrical, controls, programs — MMS field technicians bring the diagnostic capability and parts coordination to get production-critical equipment back online.

CNC & Machining Center Repair

Mechanical and controls troubleshooting for production-critical machining equipment across major OEM platforms.

Robotic Cell Diagnosis

Robot path, end-effector, and integration troubleshooting for automated cells. Recover production after robotic faults.

Alignment & Geometry Corrections

Laser alignment, geometry verification, and precision correction for high-accuracy equipment that's drifted out of spec.

Program & Controls Troubleshooting

PLC, HMI, and CNC program diagnosis to recover production after software-related faults and parameter drift.

Spindle Rebuild & Replacement

Spindle service, rebuild, and replacement coordination for production machining equipment. Faster than OEM dispatch.

WHY MANUFACTURERS STAY WITH MMS

Built for industrial reality.

Three things that show up on the floor, in the data, and on the P&L.

01

Operator-Led

MMS is built and led by people who have walked the floor — military, manufacturing, engineering, and heavy industrial operators. The leadership making decisions about your program has lived your problems. That credibility shows up in scopes that are realistic, deliverables that work on the floor, and execution that respects production constraints.

02

Employee-Owned

MMS is employee-owned. Thirty percent of the company is held by our workforce, which means every technician, planner, and engineer on your site has direct stake in the outcome. Ownership shows up in safety discipline, in PM completion rates, and in how problems get escalated.

03

Operating Model

Every site MMS manages follows the same operating rhythm — daily production alignment meetings, weekly performance reporting, monthly reliability reviews, quarterly business reviews. Maintenance work is visible, measurable, and accountable. Not a black box. Not a labor invoice.

COMPARE PROGRAMS

Pick the program that fits your operation.

Option 1

Managed Maintenance

A fully managed program where MMS owns the maintenance scope end to end — workforce, leadership, planning, execution, reporting, and reliability improvement.

Best For

Facilities that want a single accountable partner and predictable uptime as a contract outcome.

Option 2

A.M.P - Technical Workforce

MMS provides skilled multi-craft technicians, electricians, and mechanics — you retain maintenance strategy and program ownership.

Best For

Operations that want capacity without overhead, but keep their own maintenance leadership in place.

Option 3

Project Support

Skilled crews and project oversight deployed for capital projects, outages, and turnarounds.

Best For

Operations that need scale and craft for a defined window without expanding internal headcount.

HOW WE DELIVER

National coverage, RAPID response.

MMS field service responds at a moment’s notice when assets go down. Technicians carry diagnostic tools, common-failure parts, and directly communicate with reliability engineers back at headquarters regardless of the failure mode.

Every response starts with structured intake — we want to understand the equipment, the symptoms, and the production impact before the technician hits the road. That's how we arrive as prepared as possible to get you up and running faster.

The fastest repair is the one we already mapped before we got there.

INDUSTRIES WE SUPPORT

Industries where machine-tool downtime costs the most.

MMS field service runs where production lines run on precision machining — where every hour of equipment downtime adds up fast.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Machine-tool emergency repairs — questions buyers ask.

  • Response time depends on facility location and the nature of the failure. MMS dispatches from regional hubs to keep response time within the same operating day for most U.S. facilities. Remote diagnosis often begins as soon as the call comes in so the technician arrives with the right parts, tools, and approach.

  • MMS supports CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers, robotic cells, alignment and geometry corrections, spindle service and rebuild, EDM, grinders, and program/controls troubleshooting across most major equipment manufacturers.

  • OEM service is often booked weeks out and limited to the OEM's equipment. MMS field service offers faster response, broader equipment expertise across multiple OEMs, and the diagnostic capability to repair — not just inspect and quote. We work alongside OEM warranties when needed.

  • Remote diagnosis combines a structured call intake (equipment make, model, symptoms, error codes, recent maintenance history), photo and video review from the customer, and sometimes remote screen access for CNC controllers. The goal is to arrive prepared with parts and an approach already mapped.

  • Every emergency response generates a service report covering: equipment diagnosed, root cause identified, work performed, parts replaced, verification testing, and any follow-up recommendations. The report flows into customer maintenance records for traceability and trend tracking.
